About Pregis Clean Water Initiative

DID YOU KNOW?

Over 800 million people in the world live without regular access to clean water. That’s roughly 1 in 9 people worldwide – about 2.5 times the population of the United States. Most of these people are in the rural, isolated areas of developing nations and large portions of their days are consumed walking to collect water for their families. That’s hours each day dedicated to survival instead of children attending school or parents working to enrich the lives of their family. By having access to clean, drinkable water the people in these communities are able to shift their focus beyond survival to education and building their communities.
